President Uhuru kenyatta has today indirectly swiped the deputy president William ruto for what is termed as "corrupting" the minds of the youths of this nation by giving out handouts to different groups of youth instead of empowering their skills so as to fend for themselves.
However the president did not directly mentioned the DP'S name and He hit-out to some political leaders and referred to them as leaders who don't have plans of transforming the lives of the youths and Kenyans at large.
"You must have plans. And you can't have plans if you don't think about the things that will help citizens to stand on their own.Kenyans don't want handouts. They want to be given the ability to fend for themselves. That is the country we can say, have citizens who are happy for their country," He said.
The deputy president has been criticized by different political leaders of this nation including the former prime minister Raila Odinga for giving out money to support the churches in different parts of Kenya. However the deputy president has defended himself revealing that He is busy empowering the hustlers.
President Uhuru Kenyatta revealed this when He was inspecting the construction of the multi-million shillings dam project in makueni county.
The president also criticized those who are attacking his projects across the Nation revealing that they are the leaders who are busy dragging back the Kenyan developments. He also said that the project will provide water for the large number of the residents in the area and will also create more jobs for the youths who are in the region and the neighbouring counties.
"Those asking why we are doing this (infrastructure). We are doing them because without infrastructure, you can't raise the standards of people. You cannot get jobs. Without this water project that we are doing, we cannot plough these areas."President Revealed.
He was also accompanied by other political leaders including Raila Odinga and the former vice president kalonzo musyoka.
