Tana River and which is is the biggest river in the country has recorded the highest water levels this year. Along the Nairobi Meru highway, where the Tana River crosses the major highway the river is currently having water pass over the bridge. Though little water started the levels have increased and now Motorists are advised to avoid crossing the bridge if the levels increase to levels that they will not be able to access the bridge boundaries.
