Ruto on The Spot Again as Kenyans Are Shown What's Happening in Egypt

Deputy President William Ruto has once again been put on the spot over his wheelbarrow politics, this time being accused of lacking the vision needed in a leader of his league.

Ruto is not new to being attacked over the same, with his critics using it to accuse him of taking the country aback by giving them ancient tools to solve their current problems.

They have also wondered why he dishes wheelbarrows to Kenyans while riding in choppers, terming this enough proof that he is unfit to lead Kenyans as their next president.

City lawyer Donald Kipkorir has indirectly stated that the DP doesn't deserve leadership as unlike the leaders across the globe, he lacks vision and ability to provide leadership.

He says that what Kenyans need are the likes of the leaders now creating a city in the desert in Egypt, which, to him, is the vision needed.

"Whilst your favourite politicians are promising your wheelbarrows, Egypt is building a new capital city in the desert. The new city shows the importance of national ambitions and strong leadership," the lawyer, a vocal Ruto critic, says in a tweet.

He is among the prominent persons completely opposed to the DP and has repeatedly predicted a loss for him should he proceed and seek the presidency next year.

Rather, he holds that the seat should be handed to ODM leader Raila Odinga, who is also eyeing the position, though yet to officially declare his candidacy.

But the DP and his allies has defended the wheelbarrow issue, saying that it is still widely used and those looking down on the tool and it's users are looking down on Kenyans.

He has termed this just an indication of what he will do if elected President; promising to dramatically reduce the gap between the rich and poor though his 'bottom-up' approach.
