Kings Prism Tower in Upper hill- why the building still unoccupied

By - - [General]

Located in upper hill area Nairobi, the iconic kings Prism tower was opened for tenants in August 2018. The opening of the 34-storey building was witnessed by HE president Uhuru Kenyatta. The building is strategically positioned in the most well connected upper hill business district of Nairobi along NGO ng avenue. This is the latest eye catching marvel in the area.

Two years down the line the iconic 133 metre high building remains an empty shell no tenant wishes to occupy. By march, no single tenant was willing to take up space.

The decline in space uptake has mainly been linked to the current economic slowdown and continued excess supply of commercial space in the area.

The elegant building is categorized as grade A meaning it is the highest quality being top choice for multinationals. In one of the adverts it was noted that office space cost a whooping kshs 120, 000 per month. The building features the most modern architecture and latest services.
