The Lord said, “You’re to tell them they’re wicked, and Babylon will come and take them away.

Jeremiah said, “Lord, I don’t want this job. I’m too young, and I’m not good at public speaking.”
The Lord said, “I chose you for this job before you were born. I’ll tell you exactly what to say.
Still, the people won’t listen, and they’ll try to kill you. But don’t worry. I’ll be with you and protect you.”
