"I'd Rather Not Be President," Raila Now Speaks Of Leaving The Race If This Will Not Be His Agenda

Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga has once again talked about his ambition to jail the corrupt in the country and set a country as corruption free zone.

Talking to radio citizen, the opposition leader said that he would rather not be the president of the republic of Kenya if the corrupt will not be punished. He added the people in public office who misuses public funds are supposed to be jailed and not pardoned according to Raila Odinga, the country has moved from a form of "toa kitu kidogo" to that one of "toa kitu kikubwa" to "toa kila kitu" which simply means the corruption in public sector is intense that the officers tend to ask for huge amount of money for one to get a service done.

"There’s no reason for me to be President when we say that the corrupt shouldn't be punished. People who misuse public funds should be in jail.I'd rather not be President than allow that to happen. It moved from Toa Kitu Kidogo, to Toa Kitu Kikubwa to Toa Kila Kitu," he said.

Raila who has been throwing words with the deputy president William Ruto since he made his statement in Mombasa last weekend has also explained that his sentiments were not directed to a person rather to all kenyans. But he has said that there's one person who is now attacking him for saying that the corrupt should be jailed.

"I didn't mention someone when I said the corrupt must be in jail but you hear the guilty say, 'he is talking about me.' The guilty are afraid." Raila said.

Raila is currently speaking to several radios concerning the state of the nation and the current political occuring in the country.
