Education cabinet secretary Prof George Magoha has appointed a 9 member committee to advise the ministry on how to restore normalcy in the education sector in light of the far reaching effects of the covid-19 pandemic in the country. The tasks of the committee include:

A) Advising the cs on ways of all boarding students and pupils when schools re-open.

B) Reviewing and re-organizing the school calendar.

C) Advising the cs on the re-opening of basic institutions, secondary schools, colleges and adult institutions, among other tasks.
